Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning proudly sends NATE-Certified technicians into customers’ homes throughout North America every day. While this notation of being Nate-Certified decidedly sounds reaffirming, what does it really mean?
NATE, an abbreviation for North American Technician Excellence, is the nation’s largest non-profit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. NATE is the certification organization that was developed by and has been accepted by the entire HVACR industry for close to 20 years. Although, not all technicians in the business are necessarily NATE-Certified. The certification is elective and technicians can service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment without the accreditation.
It’s important to Service Experts that our team is NATE-Certified to make sure we are placing the most skilled technicians into our customers’ homes. To make sure technicians meet these qualifications, the NATE-Certification exams verify real-world working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems for technicians. The assessments are knowledge-based exams that measure the technician’s understanding of these guidelines.
Due to the fact that Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning focuses largely on the HVAC side of NATE-Certification, our technicians achieve their designations in these areas. However, NATE assessment candidates may earn certification in one or more of these areas:
- Air Conditioning
- Air Distribution
- Gas Heating
- Oil Heating
- Heat Pumps
- Hydronic Gas (service only)
- Hydronics Oil (service only)
- Light Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
- Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
- Ground Source Heat Pump Loop Installer
- Senior HVAC Efficiency Analyst
You can be sure that the technicians at Service Experts are highly effiecient and professional and will do the job right the first time.
