Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to sponsor the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this wonderful event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the top nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The donations fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial assistance for families.
Midland Air Service Experts contributed $1000 to this amazing cause and the nationwide event has gathered over $500,000. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her father’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s motorcycle club gets involved every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for this incredible cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it because we love the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and participating in wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To learn more about how you can get involved and support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
